Production Manager - Milling
Operational responsibility and accountability for production in Milling operation. Responsible for setting the vision and to achieve business objectives while building a positive plant culture. Additionally, provide leadership and implement organizational strategies in production area(s) to meet safety, quality and production design goals in addition to cost objectives, product/technology development and promoting a strong team atmosphere.
Responsibilities:
- Actively lead and support the plant safety programs;
- Establish systems to ensure conformance to quality requirements;
- Manage production operations to meet product demand requirements, exceeding design parameters, and facilitating product/technology development opportunities;
- Actively pursue ways to meet site yield expectations;
- Actively pursue ways to achieve cost objectives established by the business; and
- Create an environment that promotes positive teamwork and accomplishments.

- Demonstrated knowledge of costs and financial controls;
- Demonstrated ability to think ahead, plan, prepare and execute action plans to achieve results;

- Ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload while paying attention to detail;

- Knowledge of Six Sigma and/or Lean Manufacturing; and
- Demonstrated skills with the standard features of various personal computer word processing and spreadsheet software (Microsoft Word and Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Internet, and other proprietary software).
Education/Experience:
- BS Engineering;
- 5+ years in an engineering or supervisory role; and
- Lean, Six Sigma and/or Continuous Improvement.
