Maintenance Manager

Responsible for maintenance supervision and reliability including vibration analysis, lube oil analysis and mechanical integrity. 

  • Troubleshoot maintenance problems and establish Preventive Maintenance procedures;
  • Apply Knowledge of equipment maintenance and reliability;

Engineering Manager

Responsible for leading the division’s efforts to implement capital projects and develop new processes for company’s facilities.  Direct reports include project engineers and process engineers. 

Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop, budget, coordinate resources, plan execution and ensure all capital projects are completed according to schedule and costs, and deliver benefits as anticipated;
  • Ensure that all plant upgrades and installation of equipment are completed according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines;
  • Define and implement a mechanical integrity program for pressure vessels, compressors, pumps, rotating equipment, blowers, seal valves and other process equipment.  Develop appropriate contingency plans to address future issues;
  • Work with the Engineering and Operations teams to manage the following budgetary goals;
  • Ensure that employees understand the organization’s goals and are fully engaged in achieving them;
  • Develop short and long term operating plans including annual budgets;
  • Manage productivity and costs to meet the financial plans;
  • Lead process and quality improvement efforts to improve profitability and customer satisfaction – for both existing operations as well as new product initiatives; and
  • Assist employees in developing performance goals and in establishing plans to meet and exceed those objectives.

Process Engineer – multiple locations

Demonstrated record of accomplishment in a manufacturing culture focused on safety, reliability, and process improvement. Ideally this experience will include mineral and/or inorganic chemical continuous process manufacturing. Experience should include a minimum of 5 years of experience in an engineering and/or leadership capacity. Good technical skills coupled with excellent communications skills are essential. The ideal candidate will have the desire and potential to develop into a broader management role, in an engineering, maintenance, or production capacity.

Other requirements include:

  • BS Chemical Engineering or related technical field;
  • Experience with kilns/calciners and background in cement, lime, kaolin, trona or similar industries;
  • Strong background using statistical methodologies (SPC) to improve plant operating efficiency and productivity;
  • Capability to independently support related areas of responsibility with minimal supervision;
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all functional groups and through several levels of the organization;
  • Can utilize project management and other engineering tools to optimize project execution;
  • Functional/technical knowledge and/or experience commensurate to the role/job;
  • Interest in and commitment to teamwork and team based systems;
  • Demonstrated leadership skills; and
  • Strong Computer skills.

Reliability Manager

Responsible for division reliability management. Lead the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program for multiple manufacturing sites. This individual will lead the Maintenance and Reliability Engineers and Technicians in the reliability programs and will champion the Reliability program at multiple sites. Looking for an individual who has a solid track record in PM/PdM and who has mentored and developed personnel in Maintenance and Reliability Departments. 

The position will include:

  • Responsibility for maintenance engineering and reliability;
  • Responsibility for electrical and mechanical reliability, NDT, vibration analysis, lube oil analysis and mechanical integrity;
  • Serve as Champion for the Reliability Program;
  • Lead troubleshooting of plant maintenance problems and establish Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures;
  • Direct and coordinate CMMS;
  • Work closely with plant management personnel; and
  • Train personnel and developing Reliability Centered Maintenance Program. 

Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree required, preferably in engineering;
  • Able to train personnel and develop Reliability Centered Maintenance Program;
  • Track record of improving plant OEE; and
  • Experience with CMMS.

Requirements:
  • BS/BA - 4 year degree;
  • 5+ years experience in logistics fields;
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external customers and all service providers;
  • A good working knowledge of computer programs, with specific emphasis on data bases, spreadsheets (Excel), word documents, etc.;
  • Understanding of inventory software programs and software integration potential;
  • Ability to effectively manage the logistics group, and report to senior executive on a consistent basis;
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and has the ability to multi task, if and when it is required; and
  • Demonstrate ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing; strong interpersonal skills; excellent organizational skills.
