Responsible for overall safe and efficient plant operations. This position is also responsible for coaching and developing subordinate staff. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for management of all plant operations;
  • Responsible for oversight of Environmental, Health and Safety compliance through implementation and enforcement of all governmental regulations;
  • Responsible for administration and enforcement of Homeland Security;
  • Control of operation costs in order to achieve budget;
  • Directing Managers in equipment maintenance and protection programs to maximize life expectancy of all hard assets;
  • Oversee customer satisfaction through producing and delivering on-time products in proper quantities, shipping and correct invoicing;
  • Implement long-term planning concepts, directives and goals as outlined by Senior Corporate Management;
  • Responsible for employee compliance with all operations and plant operating policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for establishing and maintaining effective communication and coordination with Company personnel and management;
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering. MBA preferred but not required;
  • 7+ years of management experience;
  • Proven track record of leadership, productivity improvement, profitability and personnel development while maintaining site Health, Safety and Environmental standards; and
  • 10+ years of process industry experience.

Reliability Engineer

Responsibilities include:

  • Troubleshoot maintenance problems and establish Preventive Maintenance procedures;
  • Apply Knowledge of equipment maintenance and reliability;
  • Use initiative and resourcefulness to ensure maintenance project success, including working with people at all levels and partnering with them to bring about change that brings business benefits;
  • Manage multiple maintenance projects to completion with an agreed set of project goals. Provide detailed reporting of progress to management;
  • Direct improvements in the organization from a maintenance and reliability position;
  • Take proactive action to resolve issues and identify road blocks and develop strategies to remove them;
  • Engage other resources as deemed necessary to get the job done with focus on positive outcomes;

  • Evaluates statistics and data on vibration, lube oil, mechanical integrity, etc;

Maintenance Manager

Responsible for maintenance management and reliability. The position is with a highly profitable, diversified company that is looking to add a key person to direct their Maintenance Department. This person will lead the effort to enhance the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program.

This individual will lead the Maintenance Department and the Reliability Program which is a key to the success of this operation. Looking for an individual who has a solid track record in PM/PdM and has mentored and developed personnel in a Maintenance Department. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Responsibility for maintenance, engineering and reliability;
  • Responsibility for mechanical reliability, NDT, vibration analysis, lube oil analysis and mechanical integrity;
  • Serve as Champion for Site Reliability Program;
  • Troubleshoot Plant maintenance problems and establish Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures;
  • Direct and coordinate plant CMMS;
  • Work closely with plant and corporate management personnel;
  • Train personnel and develop Reliability Centered Maintenance Program;
  • BS degree required in Engineering;
  • Able to train personnel and develop Reliability Centered Maintenance Program;
  • Track record of improving plant OEE; and
  • Experience with CMMS.

Senior Process Engineer

Development and Implementation of Process Improvements for Existing Plant and Capital Projects. The goals are to minimize impact on existing production, utilize existing and state-of-art technologies and rapidly execute plans for expanding or enhancing process performance. Responsibilities include:

  • Maintain safe working conditions and practices to achieve a zero (0) lost time injury record within the area of responsibility. Perform work duties in accordance with corporate safety and environmental quality system procedures;
  • Plan and execute in-process experiments, keep and analyze production performance data to achieve the lowest possible cost methods for the plant;
  • Provide design services for new process expansions as well as modifications and upgrades to existing installations. Investigate requirements with Maintenance and Production departments to provide the best possible solutions;
  • Solicit quotations, prepare bid documents, cost estimates, time tables and pay-back calculations for engineering and construction projects leading to Capital Asset Requests;
  • Review drawings and submittals received from vendors, contractors and consultants to ensure compliance with design objectives and/or contract documents;
  • Supervise contractors in construction projects. Ensure that construction methods are according to plant specifications and standards. Address and resolve construction problems that arise in the field;
  • Coordinate required shutdowns for tie-ins, etc. with appropriate department and contractors to minimize impact on plant operations;
  • Conduct check-out and start-up of new and modified systems in the plant to satisfy production and maintenance requirements. Identify problems in new systems and recommend solutions; and
  • Provide computer aided drafting services using Auto-CAD  Field verify and update existing plant drawings as required for project designs. Create drawings as required for new projects.

Responsible for leading capital projects and developing new project processes. Direct reports include Project Engineers. Will also direct vendors and contractors. Responsibilities include: 

  • Develop, budget, coordinate resources and plan execution of capital projects according to schedule, costs, and deliver benefits as anticipated;
  • Ensure that all plant upgrades and installation of equipment are completed according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines;
  • Work with Operations teams to manage the following budgetary goals;
  • Ensure that employees understand goals and are fully engaged in achieving them;
  • Develop short and long term operating plans including annual budgets;
  • Manage productivity and costs to meet the financial plans;
  • Lead process and quality improvement efforts to improve profitability and customer satisfaction – for both existing operations as well as new product initiatives;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. MBA is desired; 
  • Demonstrated record of accomplishment in project management, safety, reliability and process improvement;
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience;
  • 10+ years of overall project experience;
  • Ability to blend coaching, modeling, managing and recruiting to effectively drive improved results, develop employees and strengthen operations; and
  • Strong presentation skills using PowerPoint and Excel to illustrate capital projects, cost, timing, alternatives and contingencies.
