MANAGER OF PACKAGING

Duties/Responsibilities:
Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership.  Working with others to perform against the plant site safety plan with the goal of being a zero injury workplace.
Lead the effort with others to maintain a clean and safe production environment.
Plan, organize and direct packaging operations to optimize performance.
Work closely with others to motivate and improve knowledge of packaging personnel.
Create Standard Operating Procedures, then train and hold people accountable to using them.
Operate packaging at a high level of efficiency using Key Performance Indicators and a continuous improvement approach to hold yourself and your team accountable for achieving performance targets.
Establish fluid transitions between shifts, including establishing shift schedules.
Meet with direct reports twice per year to formally review their performance.  
Hold people accountable administering the collective bargaining agreement.  
Ensure employee grievances are addressed in a timely manner.
Use root cause analysis to permanently solving problems.
Work with purchasing to ensure packaging supplies are available to perform at a high level.
Work closely with the Maintenance Manager to ensure proper preventative maintenance is occurring.
Track and manage expenses versus agreed upon annual budget.
Provide solid people leadership that lives our Core Values of:  Safety, Integrity, Openness & Trust, Teamwork, Entrepreneurship, and Social Responsibility.
Help to implement a Customer Focused Strategy of Leading Customer Service, Competitive Cost Position, and High Quality & Innovative Products.  This includes supporting Good Manufacturing Practices and Third Party Audit requirements. 
Spend majority of the time in the plant work areas engaging with employees to listen, troubleshoot and provide support for improving performance.
Willing to work more than 40 hours per week and weekends on occasion.

Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree  
5+ years in packaging operation supervisory role.    
Demonstrated experience with improvements in safety, productivity, and quality.
Communication skills working with all levels, including hourly workforce and senior management.
Experience using continuous improvement processes like Lean Sigma and Root Cause Analysis.
Computer competence (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Customer focus mind-set.

E&I SUPERINTENDENT

Oversee all plant electrical maintenance including troubleshooting, installation and upgrades of power distribution and plant instrumentation and controls systems and networks. Assist in the design of HMI systems. In addition, maintain tests and troubleshooting of industrial controls and automation equipment, machinery, and associated electrical and electronic controls.

Duties/Responsibilities: 
Directs electrical foremen, leadmen and electricians
Installs and commissions Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems.
Designs and configures interface displays on Distributor Control Systems (DCS).
Troubleshoot programs with advanced PLC instructions such as PID, function blocks, advanced math, etc.
Oversees screen development and modifications for HMI and MMI software’s (RSView, RSStudio, etc.).
Knowledge of programming in RSLogix 5, RSLogix 500, RSLogix 5000, etc.
Familiar with variable frequency drives (VFD) and servodrives.
Effectively communicate with all departments on program modifications and changes.
Train E&I staff on operation of new equipment and installations.
Inspects and tests equipment, electrical control and safety devices for operation and safety. 
Observes all safety rules, regulations and precautions.
Performs other duties as assigned. 

Requirements:
In depth knowledge of data base structures, DDE and HMI systems.
Thorough knowledge of PLC programming.
Significant knowledge of PID control schemes.
Knowledgeable of the appropriate electrical code.

CHEMICAL PROCESS ENGINEER

Demonstrated record of accomplishment in a manufacturing culture focused on safety, reliability, and process improvement.  Ideally this experience will include 24/7 continuous process manufacturing.  Experience should include a minimum of 2 years of experience in an engineering capacity.  Good technical skills coupled with excellent communications skills are essential. Hands-on, in-plant experience. 

The ideal candidate will have the desire and potential to develop into a broader management role, in an engineering, maintenance, or production capacity in the future.

Other requirements include:
BS Chemical Engineering or related technical field
Strong background using statistical methodologies (SPC) to improve plant operating efficiency and productivity
Capability to independently support related areas of responsibility with minimal supervision
Ability to effectively communicate with all functional groups and through several levels of the organization
Can utilize project engineering/project management and other engineering tools to optimize project execution
Interest in and commitment to teamwork and team based systems
Demonstrated leadership skills

MAINTENANCE & RELIABILITY MANAGER 

Responsible for plant maintenance and reliability management. Lead the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program for 24/7 continuous process industrial processing and refining facility.

This individual will lead the Maintenance Department and the Reliability programs. Looking for an individual who has a solid track record in PM/PdM and who has mentored and developed personnel in Maintenance Departments. 

The position will include:
Responsibility for maintenance, maintenance engineering and reliability
Responsibility for mechanical reliability, NDT, vibration analysis, lube oil analysis and mechanical integrity. 
Serving as Champion for Plant Reliability Program. 
Leading troubleshooting of plant maintenance problems and establish Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures. 
Directing and coordinating plant CMMS. 
Working closely with plant management personnel. 
Training personnel and developing Reliability Centered Maintenance Program. 

Requirements:
BS degree preferred with BS in Engineering desirable. 
Able to train personnel and develop Reliability Centered Maintenance Program. 
Track record of improving plant OEE.
