Assistant Plant Manager

Responsible for the work of production superintendents, production, supervisors and 100 production operators. Plan, schedule, and supervise all operational functions to meet or exceed sales requirements at the minimum operating cost.

Responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate materials, supplies, and manpower in all production and finishing areas to ensure the achievement of production and shipping goals;
  • Review operating costs to meet cost reduction goals;
  • Review processes to reduce scrap, machine downtime, and to ensure quality;
  • Prepare reports, attend meetings, etc. to promote open communication between plant personnel;
  • Assist subordinates in the accomplishment of their business objectives and their efforts to develop themselves professionally;
  • Evaluate superintendents and supervisors’ performance and periodically review results.  Assist them to meet objectives, performance standards, quality, housekeeping and all areas of their responsibilities;
  • Recommend salary merit and promotion increases for his direct reports;
  • Supervise the operating departments to meet production requirements with quality and coordinating the maintenance activity to minimize costs; and
  • Maintain safe working conditions and practices and operate the plant in compliance with all OSHA and other environmental regulations.

Qualifications:

  • BS in Engineering; and
  • 10 years progressive manufacturing experience in heavy process industry.

Maintenance Manager

Responsible for maintenance management and reliability. The position is with a highly profitable, diversified company that is looking to add a key person to direct their Maintenance Department. This person will lead the effort to enhance the Preventive and Predictive Maintenance Program.

This individual will lead the Maintenance Department and the Reliability Program which is a key to the success of this operation. Looking for an individual who has a solid track record in PM/PdM and has mentored and developed personnel in a Maintenance Department. The position will include:

  • Responsibility for maintenance, engineering and reliability;
  • Responsibility for mechanical reliability, NDT, vibration analysis, lube oil analysis and mechanical integrity;
  • Serve as Champion for Site Reliability Program;
  • Troubleshoot Plant maintenance problems and establish Preventive and Predictive Maintenance procedures;
  • Direct and coordinate plant CMMS;
  • Work closely with plant and corporate management personnel; and
  • Train personnel and develop Reliability Centered Maintenance Program. 

Qualifications:

  • BS degree required in Engineering;
  • Able to train personnel and develop Reliability Centered Maintenance Program;
  • Track record of improving plant OEE; and
  • Experience with CMMS.

Senior Electrical Engineer


  • Lead all aspects of electrical engineering at the Plants including plant power generation and distribution and control systems. Responsible for plant electrical project engineering and management;
  • Responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the plant’s electrical systems and electrical maintenance programs;
  • Implement electrical engineering solutions to solve problems and contribute to the company’s Operational Excellence;
  • Manage all aspects of long-term plant power supply needs and strategies;
  • Establish electrical standards and implement the management systems to maintain those standards;
  • Design for electrical and control components of engineering projects;
  • Take the lead in the diagnosis and trouble-shooting of electrical systems;
  • Monitor plant power consumption and related charges, and implement techniques and procedures to minimize energy costs; and
  • Manage all aspects of site PLC/HMI systems to control all processes and provide data required for management of the Plants.
