This position is responsible for assuring that Health and Safety Programs and practices are in place and followed. Ensures that Company is meeting all aspects of Health and Safety compliance while assuring that the workforce is provided a safe working environment. Standardizes safety programs across the company. Provides assistance to the plants upon the arrival of an MSHA inspector on-site and as needed to address any MSHA issues. Issue Health & Safety reports including required MSHA reports, Workers Compensation claim filing, and internal scorecards. Coordinates Health and Safety training across all manufacturing plants and monitors all training reporting.

The Manager of Environmental Permitting will report to the Director of EH&S and will be responsible for submissions of quality produced permit applications to the appropriate regulatory agencies. Work with the Land Department, Technical Services and Site EH&S teams on a variety of permitting projects as assigned. The incumbent will also act as a resource to the Site Managers by ensuring that they appropriately manage resulting permit conditions, agency responses, revisions, and other necessary system requirements according to company policy.
