Senior Electrical Engineer
Lead all aspects of electrical engineering at the Plants including plant power and control systems. Responsible for plant project engineering and management:
- Responsible for ensuring the operational integrity and regulatory compliance of the plant’s electrical systems and electrical maintenance programs;
- Maintains electrical data, documentation, and drawings;
- Implements electrical engineering solutions to solve problems and contribute to the company’s Operational Excellence;
- Manages all aspects of long-term plant power supply needs and strategies;
- Establishes electrical standards and implement the management systems to maintain those standards;
- Designs for electrical and control components of engineering projects;
- Takes the lead in the diagnosis and trouble-shooting of electrical systems;
- Monitors plant power consumption and related charges, and implement techniques and procedures to minimize energy costs; and
- Manages all aspects of site PLC/HMI systems to control all processes and provide data required for management of the Plants.
Project Engineering:
- Supports Engineering Manager in preparing annual capital budgets;
- Prepares and submits capital appropriation requests, including payback and IRR calculations;
- Prepares scopes of work and engineering specifications as part of the RFQ process;
- Develops and manages capital project engineering and construction contracts;
- Manages construction contractors and verification/quality control of work performed;
- Implements construction/installation strategies that coordinate with the Plant’s production plans;
- Actively participates in commissioning of engineering projects; and
- Manages multiple capital projects ensuring that critical path and budget goals are met.
Maintenance and Reliability:
- Identifies opportunities to improve Plant power and control system reliability;
- Assists maintenance with the troubleshooting of Plant production equipment;
- Ensures the appropriate preventive maintenance programs are in place for electrical installations;
- Identifies and coordinates the required electrical training needs to support reliability;
- Works with the Maintenance Department to implement process improvements;
- Works closely with the Maintenance Department to support Reliable Asset Management objectives; and
- Works with Production Department to set standards for Electrical and Control equipment purchases.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited school is required;
- Registered Professional Engineering License is a plus;
- At least 5 to 15 years electrical engineering experience; and
- Preference given to those with knowledge and experience working with and trouble-shooting of:
- Allen Bradley based PLC control systems for process and equipment control as well as associated HMI graphics;
- Large DC and AC motor drives control systems which utilize power electronics for variable speed control;
- Electrical distribution systems ranging from 480V to 138 kV, including substations and MCC’s;
- Fiber optic and Ethernet based communications systems;
- Power factor correction systems; and
- Electrical systems in a heavy industrial environment.
Computer Skills:
- Complete proficiency with Microsoft Office programs is required;
- AutoCAD, MS Project, CMMS systems, highly desirable;
- Other EE related software experience a plus; and
- Allen Bradley PLC programs (PLC5, ControlLogix, MicroLogix, and DeviceNet) to troubleshoot system challenges.

Automation & Controls Engineer
Oversees installation and programming of PLC systems and networking. Oversees maintenance and installation of analog and digital equipment. Assists in the design of HMI systems. In addition, maintains tests and troubleshooting of industrial controls and automation equipment, machinery, and associated electrical and electronic controls.
Responsibilities:
- Install and commission Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems;
- Capable of writing and understanding programs with advanced PLC instructions such as PID, function blocks, advanced math, etc.;
- Perform screen development and modifications for HMI software (RSView, RSStudio, etc.);
- Capable of programming PLCs;
- Familiar with variable frequency drives (VFD) and servodrives;
- Organize and maintain PLC records and ensure they are backed up and up to date;
- Change program documentation to reflect any changes that need to be made;
- Effectively communicate with all departments on program modifications and changes;
- Train E&I staff on operation of new equipment and installations;
- Inspect and test equipment, controls and safety devices for operation and safety; and
- Observe all safety rules, regulations and precautions.
Requirements:
- In depth knowledge of data base structures, DDE and HMI systems;
- Thorough knowledge of PLC programming;
- Significant knowledge of P&ID control schemes;
- Knowledgeable of the appropriate electrical code; and
- Good oral and written communication skills.

Senior Project Manager
Responsible for leading the division’s efforts to implement capital projects and develop new processes for company’s facilities. Direct reports include Project Engineers, Project Managers and Process Engineers. Responsibilities include:
- Capital projects: Develop, budget, coordinate resources, plan execution and ensure all capital projects are completed according to schedule and costs, and deliver benefits as anticipated;
- Plant Expansions and Upgrades: Ensure that all plant upgrades and installation of equipment are completed according to schedule and within budgetary guidelines;

- Continuous Improvement: Lead process and quality improvement efforts to improve profitability and customer satisfaction – for both existing operations as well as new product initiatives; and

Qualification requirements include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. MBA desired;
- Demonstrated record of accomplishment in culture with focus on safety, reliability and process improvement;
- Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience and 10+ years of overall experience in engineering management;
- Ability to blend coaching, modeling, managing and recruiting to effectively drive improved results, develop followers and strengthen the operations team;
- Basic understanding of PLC and HMI systems;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills;
- Excellent writing, analytical and financial skills;
- Good presentation skills using PowerPoint to illustrate capital projects, cost, timing, alternatives and contingencies; and
- Able to work effectively across all levels of an organization from senior management to hourly workforce.

Safety Coordinator
Responsible for coordinating and leading the safety programs at company facilities and to provide professional knowledge and expertise in the administration and support of health and safety programs. Additional responsibilities include:
- Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of health and safety programs to assure compliance with regulatory agency guidelines and corporate policies;
- Responsibilities include management of the Safety Management Program (SMP), and associated training programs to assure compliance safety and health regulations and guidelines; and

- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety, health, and training program in support of Company SMP Policies;

- Conduct on-site reviews and support audits of operations and facilities;
- Work with site resources to implement SMP standards and has the ability to plan ahead for pending regulations;
- Assist with setting SMP Targets & Objectives and provides guidance for attainment;
- Work closely with the Site Managers, department managers, employees at all levels, and contractors to maintain a safe and healthy work place;
- Develop and implement accident investigation techniques, data analysis, and recurrence prevention programs and procedures. Ensure accidents, incidents, near misses and other non-conformances are properly rated and appropriately input into the CIRS database;
- Lead and assist with incident investigations and ensure the appropriate levels of corrective actions are implemented;
- Assure the SMP Management System is effective and efficient and updated as needed for continual improvement;
- Coordinate employee and contractor training to understand their role in support of health and safety and regulatory requirements, including job hazard analysis (JHA) and process safety management (PSM);
- Achieve and maintain the corporate and industry safety metrics, such as TRIR and EMR ratings consistent or better than industry benchmarks;
- Assist Emergency Response Teams and respond to potential plant emergencies and planning;
- Professionally represent the company with regulatory agencies regarding OSHA regulatory compliance and develop a good working relationship with regulators to formulate effective corrective actions;
- Assist with the development of the annual safety budget and properly administer expenditures;
- Manage worker compensation claim process and implements a Divisional Case Management program;
- Assure compliance with health and safety aspects of Contractor Management Program; and
- Participate in the annual Sites management review process.

Quality Manager
Responsibilities include:
- Define and lead the product quality initiatives in close collaboration with all plants;
- Oversee continuous development and improvement of Quality System Program which includes the customer complaint management system, quality document management systems and associated elements. Objectives include meeting multiple market/customer sales needs and standardizing optimal quality processes between manufacturing, technical, administrative and sales groups;
- Advise, educate and train managers, colleagues and employees on the business value of maintaining and improving quality system;
- Manage response to supporting customer and market requirements for quality system elements and information, including supplier surveys and site audit visits. Coordinate necessary follow-up actions with the Sales / Customer Service and Sales Administration departments;
- Perform and advise internal audit programs to ensure the effectiveness of the quality systems, suitability and improvement, including procedure updates;
- Support, advise and coordinate with Purchasing and Regulatory Affairs the development and implementation a supplier audit program to ensure consistent quality of materials;
- Coordinate all certification efforts in support of Corporate Certification project;
- Act as the Quality representative to Corporate Quality Group efforts;
- Manage all functions of the plant QA & QC labs including raw material, in process, and finished goods testing;
- Lead the Analytical Materials Testing using various testing tools and methods;
- Responsible for compliance with ISO procedures at the site;
- Manage & support the ongoing HACCP & GMP quality efforts;
- Provide leadership in the area of first pass quality in an effort to minimize waste and maximize plant efficiency. This includes technician training, process auditing and recommendations to management on best practices; and
- Work with other team members to ensure systems and processes are in place to maintain finished goods integrity within the warehouses and that inventory accuracy is maintained.
