Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
Serve as Plant Electrical Maintenance Supervisor; responsible for supervising electrical, instrumentation and automation maintenance crews and coordinating reliability projects.
Responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot E & I maintenance problems and establish Preventive Maintenance procedures;
- Direct and coordinate plant CMMS for Electrical, Instrumentation and Automation;
- Direct installation and commissioning of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and interface displays on Distributor Control Systems (DCS);
- Direct screen development, enhancements and modifications for HMI’s;
- Effectively communicate with all departments on program modifications and changes;
- Train E&I staff on operation of new equipment and installations;
- Inspect and test equipment, electrical control and safety devices for operation and safety; and
- Observe all safety rules, regulations and precautions.
Requirements include:
- BS / BA or Associates Degree preferred;
- Experience supervising E & I maintenance projects, reliability, vibration analysis, etc.;
- Understand programs with advanced PLC instructions such as PID, function blocks, advanced math, etc.; and
- Familiar with variable frequency drives (VFD) and servodrives.
